Meta Launches Muse Code, an AI Coding Agent to Challenge Industry Giants

Meta Platforms Inc. has recently launched its first AI coding agent, Muse Code, in a bid to compete with leading artificial intelligence labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI. Announced in a blog post, Muse Code is designed to perform complete software engineering tasks across large repositories, including planning changes, writing code, and validating results. According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Muse Code is currently in beta and allows users to generate code by simply describing their application needs in natural language, significantly simplifying the development process.
